In the UK, today received the book “Return to the Enchanted Forest”, which after 80-year was a continuation of stories about Winnie the Pooh and his friends, Alan Milne’s characters. As reported today the British newspaper Guardian, it is “the first” official “sequel, since it was approved by the trust representing the interests of the heirs of Milne.

RIA Novosti reported, according to the Guardian, that the book “Return to the enchanted forest” is a “continuation, but with the introduction of new elements. In general, David Benedictus made good job with his task. English Fund, which owns the rights to all works of the creator of Winnie the Pooh, after long reflection took nearly 8 years ago, deciding to order a continuation of the story, took several years to have two committees of the Fund picked up the author and agreed the terms for a new job. According to the Trust, in Britain, Winnie the Pooh – “is an integral part of culture …, a national treasure.” Manuscripts of books about Winnie the Pooh stored at Cambridge University, and valuable documents relating to Milne and his tale – in the British Library.
